DAVE ALMACK
Director
Dave Almack serves as the Director of Sales, Marketing and Acquisitions for P&R Publishing. He has been responsible for acquiring content since he joined the P&R team in 2018. Prior to working with P&R, Dave was the Publisher for CLC Publications in Fort Washington, PA, and served as the U.S. Director for CLC International.

CINDY BUNCH
Assistant Director
Cindy Bunch is a divisional vice president and associate publisher for InterVarsity Press, where she has worked for more than thirty years. She acquires and develops for the Formatio line of spiritual formation books. She is the author of Be Kind to Yourself as well as several Bible study guides. Cindy holds an MA in theological studies from Northern Seminary and completed her spiritual direction training at North Park Seminary. She and her husband live in the Chicago suburbs.

AMANDA CLEARY EASTEP
Board Member at Large
Amanda Cleary Eastep is the senior developmental editor at Moody Publishers in Chicago and works closely with both nonfiction authors and children’s fiction/Bible study authors. She is also the author of the Tree Street Kids middle grade series from Moody Publishers. (Books 5 & 6 in the series release in 2024 and 2025.) Her other writing for children has been published in Brio magazine (forthcoming), Ladybug magazine, The Friend, and via Sunday school curriculum. She has also contributed to Christianity Today, Think Christian, and many other online and print publications in higher ed, nonprofit, and business. A Chicagoland native, she has now gone native in the mountains of North Carolina.

DEBORAH SÁENZ GONZALEZ

Deborah Sáenz Gonzalez is an acquisitions and developmental editor for NavPress. She has worked in book publishing for more than a decade, spending eight years as a marketing manager for InterVarsity Press. She received a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Northwestern University and a certificate in manuscript editing from the University of Chicago. She is originally from the U.S.-Mexico border town of Laredo, Texas, and currently resides in San Antonio.

JONATHAN SCHINDLER

Jonathan Schindler is a nonfiction book editor at Tyndale House Publishers. He has worked with new and established authors in a variety of nonfiction genres. Jonathan’s writing has appeared in Leadership Journal online and The Englewood Review of Books.

MICK SILVA
Treasurer
Mick Silva is a writer coach and developmental editor of over 20 years, including 10+ years in acquisitions for Focus on the Family, WaterBrook Multnomah, and most recently, Zondervan Books. Freelancing since 2010, he works with memoirists, pastors, counselors, and small business owners, and shares advice and mentoring at writer conferences. His three desert island books are A Wrinkle in Time, How We Love, and A Confederacy of Dunces.
